Digitalisation of the Private Equity investment journey
In a constant quest for innovation, BNP Paribas Wealth Management's range of digital solutions continues to expand. After the development of several major initiatives such as myImpact, the Clover Rating, myMandate and myFamilySafe, BNP Paribas Wealth Management's teams this year focused their innovation project on the Private Equity investment journey. The goal of this project was to digitise the full client journey to offer an end-to-end digital experience. It will be rolled out in several phases until completion in 2024. The first phase was implemented this year and is already accessible to all clients. Instead of receiving contracts by email, clients can now subscribe to offers via electronic signature, thus making the process smoother, user-friendly and fully secure.
NEXTGEN 2022 experience: Amplify your impact
For nearly two decades, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has been fostering a community made up of the heirs of its Entrepreneur & Family clients. Once again this year the NextGen Experience held sessions around the world, each focusing on a different topic, including in Paris, along the theme "Amplifying impact via investment" and in Rome along the theme "Amplify your impact through art". This last event took place in September at the prestigious Villa Medici where "NextGeners" were able to enjoy an immersion in the traditional art of painting, sculpture and music, but also an introduction to modern and contemporary art, especially digital art. Each presentation focused not only on art but also on the impact of art on society as a whole. This series of events provided tools to the next generation of investors to help them understand wealth management, business transmission or an entrepreneurial project.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management continues to develop its digital services offering
In 2017, BNP Paribas Wealth Management launched its Client Experience programme, mobilising 400 Relationship Managers, experts, clients and fintechs. With clients rapidly adopting digital tools, their expectations for a digital experience have increased. To respond to these new usages and to be in line with the Group's GTS 2025 strategic plan (Growth, Technology, Sustainability), BNP Paribas Wealth Management is enriching its offering with a digital solution for investments in private assets (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure). This solution, the Private Assets Portal will be gradually rolled out as of July 2022 in all countries where BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a presence. The new digital platform allows clients, who have already subscribed to a fund invested in private assets via electronic signature, to access in real-time all information relating to their investments. Clients can now have a 360° overview of their portfolio with a detailed breakdown of geography, strategy or currency. The platform also provides performance details of each fund and the consolidated portfolio. Automatic notifications are sent to clients as soon as new information about one of their investments is published on the portal. The platform also gives access to dedicated content on these asset classes (expert videos, articles, etc.).
Agrifrance publishes its 2022 report on rural land investment in France
Agrifrance published its annual publication on the French rural land market. The 2022 report by AGRIFRANCE – a specialised department of BNP Paribas Wealth Management- provides an overview of the rural land market in France in a context of post-pandemic economic recovery and inflationary pressures in the markets. As every year, we are delighted to present our annual publication on rural land investment. In the second quarter of 2021 the economy expanded, thanks to the end of lockdowns. However, labour, energy, commodity, transport and logistics markets were disrupted. In early 2022, the war in Ukraine complicated things further, hurting most sectors of the economy. Agricultural commodities markets did not escape the surge in prices. Despite the uncertain and complex environment, rural land delivers a good performance. Investors continue to favour this defensive asset for its diversification role. Moreover, in a context of inflation, rural land should continue to appreciate.
